SKATE CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS

The HHF Skate Camp Scholarship Program has been our cornerstone program since the organization was formed in 2007. Every summer we send a group of youth (age 15-23) from inner-city NYC neighborhoods to premiere action sports training camps.

The HHF Skate Camp Scholarship Program is designed to provide the opportunity to attend skate camp for up to three summers in order to foster the development and long-term maintenance of relationships between campers from disparate neighborhoods within and across cohorts, and with HHF volunteer staff, skater/videographers, and chaperones.

HHF campers are accompanied by a local chaperone and are provided with all the necessary gear, transportation, and spending money. Since the scholarship program’s inception we have provided 100 scholarships to Camp Woodward in Pennsylvania, the Element YMCA Skate Camp in Sequoia Lake, California, and the Homage Day Camp in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn.

For more information, please contact us. And if you would like to help send a skater to camp, please feel free to make a donation.
